No Way and Bad Things

Note: The theory is NOT mine, the original theory is in Spanish but since not everyone understand I decided to post in English. I had this on my drafts for a time now so credits to the original owner.

Note 2: I added a few things. Let’s go.

I have found the comparisons myself looking between the two songs.

1st proof.

• NO WAY: I know you don’t want me anymore by the look on your face.
• BAD THINGS: I want you forever, even when we’re not together.

This is related by the fact that in No Way, it’s clear that the person doesn’t want her/him anymore by the way she looks at her/him and in Bad Things the person said she’ll love her/him forever even if they’re not together. Both parts are sung by Lauren and Camila, coincidence?

2nd proof.

• NO WAY: Everyone comes with scars but you can love them away I told you that I wasn’t perfect, you told me the same. I think that’s why we belong together and unashamed, I told you that I wasn’t perfect, no way.
  
• BAD THINGS: Scars on my body so I can take you wherever.

It’s more than clear that they use the ‘scars metaphor’ in both songs. In No Way the person says they still can love those with ‘scars’ and in Bad Things she says that these scars are because of her (Who would be her? Lauren? Camila herself?) and because of that scar they will be forever together/connected. As if it wasn’t obvious enough we can look again and see both sings constantly these parts and she (Camila) said it’s her favorite part of the song (Bad Things).

3rd proof.

• NO WAY [Dinah]: Oh, and I know and you know how our story is told, only we know what it is. We got an audience calling us crazy we ignore those with opinions of hate we’re not like the rest of them friends with insanity as of lately.
  
• BAD THINGS: The way we love is so unique, and when we touch I’m shivering. And no one has to get it just you and me, cause we’re just living between the sheets.

In both songs those parts talk about a relationship that are between two people, the world talk about their story & they get a lot of attention but only both of them know how it is, no one understand them but they love each other. Sounds familiar, right?

Points:

• No Way is special for Lauren.
  
• Camila wrote Bad Things too.

Remember what Lauren said about No Way?

What are your thoughts? I personally don’t know what to think since Bad Things are about making love but there’s too much coincidence. As usual.
